Setting up Avanti Web Stats is very easy:

Requirements:

Server -

• PHP
• MySQL

Local PC -

• Windows 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP
• PII 400 or equivalent
• 32Mb RAM
• 4Mb Hard Disk space

Set up:

Web Scripts -

• Unzip the source file to your local PC
• Make a directory on your server and upload all the files
• Chmod the directory to 777
• Open your browser and type  http://www.yoursite.com/avantidirectory/
• The installer will do the work for you

Web pages -

• Add two line of code to each page you want to monitor (given in the instructions with the download)

Desktop client -

• Run the setup file and follow on screen prompts
• Enter the details for the sites you want to monitor
• You're done!
